Installation

Once again, our installers are true professionals and have our complete confidence! They will take special care of your flooring and home furnishings. In order to insure a successful flooring installation, our installers need your assistance.

• Heating & Electricity: Please be sure the heat and electricity is turned on and working. The temperature should be at least 65 degrees during installation.
• Furnishings: Furniture will be moved at no charge unfortunately we are not able to move oversized furniture. We strongly emphasize that all valuables and breakables be removed from cabinets, tabletops and drawers.
• Walls: Pictures, artwork, mirrors, and long draperies could be damaged during installation. We ask that you remove them. Special handling of moldings or painted trim may be required. Save your extra paint, stain or wallpaper, as your walls and woodwork may need some touch up after installation.
• Closets: Closets and storage area floors need to be cleared and long hanging clothing removed.
• Appliances: Some appliances may require special handling. Arrangements for disconnections and hookups of icemakers, gas appliances or commodes should be made prior to installation. Stereos and other electronic equipment should also be removed before installation date.
• Scheduling: With Leader Carpet you can expect your floorcovering to be professionally installed on schedule. The prompt and professional installation of your floorcovering is always a top priority with Leader Carpet.
• After Installation:
  1. Clean up: Waste materials will be collected for disposal before we leave your home. Disposal of debris is not included.
  2. Inspection: Please inspect the installation before the installers leave your home. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, the installer will correct the problem immediately.
